A licensed professional engineer, Luisa has more than six years of experience working on civil and environmental engineering projects. She focuses on hydrological and hydraulic networks modeling, project management, green infrastructure, combined sewer overflow, and data analysis and statistics. She also has experience with a variety of modeling software packages.
Luisa enjoys client-facing roles and managing projects. Since 2020, she has been working closely with key clients such as the City of Reno, Nevada, and Metropolitan Council Environmental Services in Minnesota.
Outside of work, Luisa is an active member of Engineers Without Borders’ Minnesota Professional Chapter and serves as the current president for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers’ Twin Cities Chapter (2022–2023). In her free time, she enjoys day hikes with her husband and dog, followed by a visit to local breweries. She is also an avid runner and beginner homebrewer.
