When Amy starts an investigative process for an environmental permitting project, her talent for problem solving and latent detective skills are sparked. As a leader in our Environmental Services operations in Nashville, she gets to put her sleuthing skills to work helping clients navigate regulatory processes ranging from the simple to the complex.
Recently, Amy has been working for clients as they explore and invest in opportunities for renewable energy sites—sometimes right in her own backyard. She is working with one of our water engineering teams as they make mitigation and resilience plans for a new linear project in Columbia, Tennessee. For Amy, it’s a pleasure to help clients understand why regulations exist so they can become advocates for the long-term health of the ecosystems that rely on their project’s success.
Amy has a growing passion for creating her own pollinator gardens. When not working for her clients and the insect world, Amy loves to visit forests, fields, and rivers across the country by foot and by kayak.
