Based in Birmingham, Peter is a power generation engineer with over 35 years of experience in the development, delivery, asset, and project management of international power projects. He’s worked on conventional power generation technologies, open cycle gas turbine (OCGT), combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT), combined heat and power (CHP), and coal projects. His work on renewable energy technologies has included biomass, hydro-electric and energy-from-waste.
Peter has a strong background in the understanding and execution of commercial, technical and the environmental aspects of the power generation industry. He has worked across Australia, United Kingdom, United States, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Tanzania, Italy, and the Philippines. Most notably, while at Stantec, Peter has worked on the delivery of detailed design services during the construction of Viridor's Polymers 2 Plastics Recycling Facility. This is a project that will contribute to the ongoing development and recycling of plastics and ultimately help to reduce environmental pollution.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, including going to the gym with them.
