Jason manages materials testing services in our Manitoba geotechnical engineering practice, overseeing a diverse support team. As project manager and team lead, Jason ensures that quality customer service is maintained through accurate and efficient deliverables. Jason’s expertise lies in construction materials testing, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and inspection services such as concrete condition assessments.
Recently, at the Manitoba Hydro’s Bipole III Keewatinohk Converter Station, Jason and his team provided quality control testing in support of a 500kV, high-voltage direct current transmission line. Due to the remoteness of this project, they utilized a certified, 40-foot mobile lab trailer.
Jason has served on the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Board – Manitoba Chapter since 2009, and he was president for two consecutive terms. In 2017, Jason was awarded the ACI’s Chapter Activities Award for his “tireless support of the Manitoba Chapter” of ACI. At home, you might find Jason and his wife on their backyard skating rink with their daughter.
