Sunil has 30 years of experience in application development, geographical information system (GIS), geospatial analysis, database management, and network management. He’s worked in several different roles, including software engineer, project coordinator, field technician, and chemist.
As a principal, Sunil also has experience working in various countries including India, the United Kingdom and the United States. His recent work includes the Fire Flow GIS project where he customised the EPANET and ArcMap to quickly build a hydraulic model from the corporate GIS for those areas where hydraulic models were not available. He analysed the ability to meet building fire flow requirement using single and multiple fire hydrants and also built a visualization tool to view buildings at risk. As part of another water pressure management project, Sunil also developed a tall building database to identify tall buildings in London that are at risk of loss of water supply.
In his leisure time, Sunil enjoys visiting National Trust properties and gardens, walking along Thames path, and watching movies.
