Marie’s career spans over 23 years of designing and managing State and Municipal roadway/highway projects. Her experience, from highway, urban roadway, and secondary roadway design to traffic safety improvements and bridge rehabilitation/replacements, has sharpened her sensitivity to local issues and her proficiency in public presentations, making her an invaluable partner to our clients.
Whether a project is a small, local intersection or a large corridor, Marie’s commitment to excellence is evident. As project manager for the $200M Canton I-93/I-95 Interchange, involving five subconsultants, numerous disciplines, and several municipalities, Marie met the scheduling and coordination challenges while improving safety and creating a valuable natural resource. Eliminating the elements that make this a high-crash interchange and revitalizing a 50-acre parcel with new wetlands, floodplain storage, turtle habitats, and over a mile of multi-use trails, made this one of her most rewarding projects.
An active member of the parent teach organization at her daughter’s school, Marie is always ready to volunteer at school events, but if her weekend is free, Marie and her husband enjoy spending time at the playground with their daughter.
