Matt was born and raised in Brackley, where he grew up exploring beaches, tidal pools, ponds and streams. He believes this early appreciation for nature ultimately led to him pursuing a career in environmental services/. Matt enjoys working in his home province, and has completed environmental studies on fish, fish habitat, sediment chemistry and water quality as part of managing environmental permitting projects ranging from multidisciplinary environmental impact assessments to provincial permitting applications.
His passion for nature is matched by a passion for creating innovative ways to help clients manage environmental risks. He is inspired by collaborative problem solving to support clients in developing their project in an environmentally sustainable manner. With a background in aquatic ecology and more than a decade of environmental field studies under his belt, Matt has the first-hand knowledge of what it takes to successfully carry out environmental studies efficiently and effectively.
When not supporting clients, Matt enjoys outdoor adventures with his young family including skiing, mountain biking and days at the beach.
