Scott brings nearly three decades of engineering experience in building design, solving problems, and leading people. He manages the complete design, review, and approval of structural engineering documents for a diverse range of project types including education, healthcare, retail, and workplace facilities, as well as municipal and government entities. He creates tailored solutions for each client, offering a deep understanding of construction materials and methods including alternative sustainable construction techniques. Scott believes there is something to learn from every project and finds great reward in solving technically difficult challenges.
As the Managing Leader of the Butler and Pittsburgh offices, Scott believes Stantec’s greatest asset is our people. He leverages every individual’s strengths to develop the optimal design solution. Scott’s ability to lead with out-of-the box thinking provides clients with projects that are uniquely suited to their needs.
Western Pennsylvania is a perfect fit for Scott and his wife. They have lived in numerous locations over the years, but really appreciate Pittsburgh’s big-city amenities and the ability to escape to nature in the countryside in a matter of minutes.
