As a chemical engineer with over two decades of industry experience, Henry has led multidisciplinary teams in preparing and evaluating environmental studies in the mining, electricity, transportation, water, and housing sectors—with a focus on mining in Peru. He prepares environmental studies for different stages in mining, from exploration, construction, and operation to closure.
Henry is driven by motivating the team under his charge to grow professionally, both in their professional competencies and soft skills, to become a high-performance team that is a market leader. He believes that active listening, empathy, and experience are key to understanding client needs—and for forming lasting relationships. A memorable project for him was leading the environmental impact study for the Enlozada wastewater treatment plant in Arequipa, Peru. He was thrilled to see the positive change in the environmental conditions of the Chili River.
When he’s not working with his teams, Henry finds joy in spending quality time with his family. Recognizing the importance of family and work-life balance, he enjoys watching his young children grow in their achievements.
