Upon graduating with a civil engineering degree from CSU Sacramento, Mark has worked on a diverse and extensive range of projects. He’s accrued more than 32 years of fruitful experience, and served as project engineer and design manager to conceive elegant engineering solutions for his clients.
Mark’s project experience includes the design and construction support of water treatment plants, flood control facilities, water transmission and distribution systems, wells, storage and pumping stations, and more.
Mark appreciates the opportunity to have worked in the Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps (PCCP) project in New Orleans and served as design manager. The size and scope posed many challenges, but the PCCP improvements will help to significantly reduce the risk and impacts of future disasters like Hurricane Katrina, potentially saving many lives. Mark also played a key role in the Tesla WTP, which treats potable water for consumption by 2.2 million people in the Bay area.
When he’s not at work, Mark is usually spending time with his family. But he also likes taking time for programming, 3D printing, and the technical analysis of stocks and commodities.
