A chartered engineer, Ben provides professional transportation consultancy services to a broad range of public and private sector clients. He has managed and worked on a wide variety of projects, from small residential developments through to commercial schemes over £150 million ($186 million).
In addition to a high level of technical skill and competency in transportation planning, Ben has extensive knowledge of transportation policies and documents. He has experience in the preparation of transportation assessments, travel plans, business cases, proofs of evidence, highway layouts, and junction design and modeling.
Ben regularly attends client and council meetings and public consultations. He sits on Cornwall’s Design Review Panel and led the preparation of Cornwall Council’s Town Frameworks Transport Strategies. As a former road safety auditor, he also has a solid understanding of local and national design guidance.
