With 20 years of engineering experience, Stuart project engineers and manages new construction and renovation projects. His expertise includes conceptual design, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, detailed design, and specification preparation. His depth of knowledge includes all aspects of construction management from bid evaluation through final project close-out and building commissioning.
One of Stuart’s most rewarding projects was the Innovative Technology Complex at Binghamton University. The project included three buildings: BioTech, Engineering, and the Center of Excellence. As a ’93 graduate of Binghamton University’s Watson School of Engineering, Stuart had a personal stake in the project—but the best part, he said, was being encouraged to be creative in showcasing the different available technologies.
To new engineers, Stuart has a bit of advice. “Stay current. Be aware of how designs are trending. Take advantage of the tools that are available to you. Most of all—maintain balance in your life.”
