Kari oversees the development and implementation of client-focused strategies that respond to evolving water needs and industry trends. She has extensive experience supporting project and program delivery, operations management, business development, and a variety of initiatives focused on advancing inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
With professional experience in water resources management and engineering, Kari connects clients, experts, and communities to identify sustainable solutions for our most difficult water challenges. She has specialized in leading complex, multi-benefit flood management, water supply, and environmental resource projects that seek to balance the many demands placed on our limited water resources. This includes helping clients to identify water supply vulnerabilities, define long-term goals and adaptation strategies, streamline decision making, and craft effective water projects and public policies.
Outside of work, Kari lends her passion for helping women and underrepresented professionals succeed in the water industry to various professional and volunteer organizations. She is also a trustee of the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) Foundation.
