Rob is a professional engineer with a degree in civil engineering. As the team lead for the Conveyance group, he’s responsible for managing and providing leadership for the Winnipeg Conveyance team that consists of engineers and technologists working on a variety of linear infrastructure and drainage projects throughout the province.
Over the course of his career, Rob’s experience has primarily been with water and sewer pipeline installations, but he’s also been exposed to roadway construction, drainage works, flood protection, treatment facility expansion and environmental sampling work. Rob has significant experience in water and sewer renewal designs. These renewal projects rely heavily on his communication skills as high levels of coordination is required between the client, the contractor, and the public to communicate the construction activities that are to take place, how it will affect both the existing infrastructure and the public, and how any disruption can be kept to a minimum.
Outside of the office, Rob enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
