Brian’s main role is with our wastewater group, working with them to bring in new work and to make sure everyone is utilized fully. Brian knows that projects don’t get off the ground on the back of one person—it takes a team, and he’s got some of the best people around.
Recently, Brian and his team completed work on the North Dorchester Bay CSO pump station and force main project for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority. It was part of an overall project designed to eliminate combined sewer overflow discharges to South Boston beaches up to a 25-year storm event and eliminate separate stormwater discharges up to a five-year storm event. For Brian, it was an exciting project because he was presented with many new engineering techniques to become familiar with.
When the weather’s nice, Brian might be golfing, playing tennis, riding a bike, or out for a run. In the winter he’s a skier, but he hasn’t gotten out onto the slopes as much as he’d like to, recently.
