Doug is a power delivery sector leader with over 30 years of experience in the transmission and distribution consulting engineering industry. His primary role includes client and proposal development, project planning and estimating, and technical reviews. One of his specialties is the development and scoping of projects to manage the transition from pursuit to the execution phase.
With a background in all aspects of substation design, management, and construction, Doug’s experience expanded into the management and execution of large substation and transmission projects. Recently, he’s assisted with the reconstruction and upgrade of Puerto Rico’s power grid. Challenging projects have included substation, transmission and distribution reinforcements, upgrades and replacements, with complicated designs to mitigate hurricanes, flooding, and other extreme conditions.
When he’s not modernizing power grids, Doug enjoys spending time enjoying Florida’s beaches with his wife, playing with their two dogs, and visiting his kids in Georgia and Texas—and cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs!
