A Chartered Civil Engineer, Daniel has over 25 years’ experience in flood risk management, river engineering, dams, and reservoirs. He leads complex projects from conception to completion with a focus on client objectives. As a member of the Panel of Supervising Engineers under the Reservoirs Act, Daniel helps reservoir owners comply with legislation and maintain dams in a safe condition.
An experienced Project Manager of New Engineering Contract (NEC) Engineering and Construction Contracts, Daniel has steered multimillion pound projects through construction for clients including Center Parcs and Blenheim Palace. His collaborative approach promotes good relationships across project teams and stakeholders, enabling proactive mitigation of risk and efficient resolution of problems. He’s especially proud of his numerous projects with Internal Drainage Boards, providing the critical pumping stations and defenses to manage water levels and flood risk across the lowland areas of the country. These projects embrace sustainability and environmental benefit as well as protecting large areas of agricultural land and communities.
Outside work, you might find Daniel hiking hills and coastal paths, or fishing a stretch of river for the elusive pike.
