Stefan grew up on Vancouver Island and earned a degree in chemistry from the University of Victoria before moving to Ottawa to study architecture at Carleton University. Today, he leads our Victoria architecture studio, and is responsible for studio staffing, directing the design and coordination of the team’s projects, and leading the construction administration of built projects.
Together, the Victoria team works on a range of projects with key clients such as the University of Victoria, Camosun College, Island Health, the District of Saanich, Seaspan, and Shaw Communications. Stefan believes in a collaborative design process and that the successful realization of a project relies on open communication between team members and the ability to respond swiftly and thoughtfully as the project evolves.
In his spare time, Stefan spends time with his wife and two daughters, exploring the beaches and trails around Sooke and southern Vancouver Island. He also enjoys getting his hands dirty working in his garden.
