Scot is a senior principal with expertise in drainage master plans and studies, watercourse master plans, flood warning plans, dam modifications, and bank stabilization.
Nothing is more satisfying to Scot than a successfully implemented project that benefits the community. A few good examples are when he served as project manager on Maricopa County's first watercourse master plan where non-structural floodplain management was successfully implemented along the New River; and The El Rio Watercourse Master Plan, which is proposed to be an economic engine for community partners and preservation of a riparian river environment unique to this urbanizing area.
Scot enjoys golf and sees it replicating both life and work--sometimes challenging and sometimes rewarding. The key to all is to think positive, be creative, keep moving forward, and resolve challenges as they come up.
