Growing up in the shadow of engineering feats like Grand Coulee Dam and Columbia Basin Reclamation project, water infrastructure engineering was an easy career choice for Mark. As a project manager and engineer of record, he works to help clients from project conception to construction.
Mark’s technical expertise is primarily focused on riverine and coastal flooding, environmental dredging, waste management and disposal, and dam rehabilitations. He’s worked on complex, multidisciplinary projects, including a post-Hurricane Katrina flood protection project and the environmental remediation of the Gowanus Canal Superfund Site. As the water resources engineering lead in Atlanta, he appreciates the opportunity to mentor staff in their career development and grow Stantec’s services in the southeast.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys volunteering, water sports, and reading history books.
