Josh uses his background in data and technology to support local governments in creating safer and more equitable transportation systems. Prior to joining us, he worked for the City of Alexandria in Virginia, where he built and managed their Smart Mobility Program. He focused on using new and existing data to achieve the city’s Vision Zero goal and successfully pursued grant funding for automated asset management and a connected vehicle corridor.
As a transit and zero emissions advisory consultant with our Transportation group, Josh brings his geographic information systems (GIS) and data analytics experience to city-wide electric vehicle (EV) fleet transitions. He’s also supporting Louisiana’s first Connected Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Day and several safety improvement projects.
Currently, Josh is completing a program at New York University’s Center for Urban Science focused on the regulation of autonomous vehicles. Away from work, Josh attempts to attach his tent to his bike, kayak, back, or any other vehicle.
