A highly experienced consultant, Claire has worked in the water industry with both Welsh Water and environmental regulators, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales. A champion of professional development, she’s a chartered scientist, environmentalist and water and environment manager.
Claire is experienced in water industry regulation, compliance and NEP planning. She was instrumental in development of intermittent and flow compliance, planning and regulation, recognising sewers and wastewater treatment works (WwTW) as systems. Working with our team on storm overflow assessment framework (SOAF) and combined sewer overflows (CSO) classification projects for multiple companies. She supports phosphorus reduction investigations in the marine and freshwater, focusing on model scenarios, permitting, catchment management, and use of innovative treatment technologies—including wetlands as an alternative/addition to traditional treatment technologies.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys swimming, reading, and gardening.
