As the sector leader for New Mexico's Community Development group, Colleen works with cities and municipalities to plan and improve infrastructure. This includes comprehensive revitalization plans and the design of local roadways, parks, municipal buildings, geographic information systems, landscape architecture, and surveying. She works with project teams to set clear objectives and staff the right people on each project based on the project needs, schedules, and expectations.
Colleen sees opportunity in New Mexico—an opportunity to help communities build strong, sustainable infrastructure while respecting history and planning for the future. She understands the funding mechanisms and processes within the state to help match community contributions for big changes. With more than two decades of engineering design experience working on multi-disciplinary projects, she has a knack for empowering communities to realize their potential and works with stakeholders to make sure all voices are heard.
