With over ten years of experience, Sarah is a qualified bird biologist specializing in designing, managing, and performing avian field surveys, data analysis, and project assessments. Her project experience includes monitoring threatened and endangered bird populations, habitat evaluations, and coordination/consultation with state and federal agencies.
She provides geographic information systems (GIS) support for her projects, including threatened and endangered species habitat assessments, survey design, desktop assessments, field navigation, digital data collection, and map production. And she’s particularly adept at identifying birds aurally and visually.
A skilled artist and scientific illustrator, she enjoys painting, embroidery, the outdoors, and training her four-year-old Coton de Tuléar, Matisse.
