As a managing lead, Bill is responsible for 82 dedicated employees who, as he says, “all do a great job, and it is my pleasure to work with them.” For Bill, seeing his people excel at their job and seeing them grow professionally and personally—getting married, having their own families—is what makes being a leader special. It ties colleagues together just like family.
One project that Bill is particularly proud of is the Sagamore Rotary interchange project at the gateway to Cape Cod. For years, getting to the Cape on any summer Friday or Saturday was a nightmare. There was always miles and miles of back-up due to an antiquated rotary. This project eliminated the rotary and made it possible for thousands of vacationers, commuters, and others to freely travel to the Cape, thoroughly improving the quality of life for those people.
Bill’s hobbies include golfing (which his wife, son, and daughter all do), mountain bike riding, hiking, kayaking, going to the beach, and pretty much anything else outside.
