As a veteran member of our Asset Transformation and Brownfields team, Carrie applies her decades of experience to strategizing with communities to enhance livability, equity, and vitality.
Carrie helps communities, property owners and developers identify potential barriers to property reuse and develop solutions that overcome those challenges and bring tangible community benefits. She brings together expertise in environmental assessment and risk mitigation, stakeholder outreach and engagement, and project funding and grant writing which has captured over $8 million in funding for brownfield revitalization programs.
Carrie has worked on brownfield revitalization for a diverse set of projects, from rural rails-to-trails to coastal communities to urban downtown neighborhoods. Along the way, she’s discovered a passion for placemaking that celebrates a community’s history, character, and unique assets.
