With 35 years of technical and management experience in both private and public sectors, Diane brings a diversity of experience in resilience, environmental, transportation, and land use planning. As former director of the Resilient Florida program at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, she coordinated with partner agencies to implement the statutory requirements of the Resilient Florida legislation. She oversaw the development of the first Statewide Flooding and Sea Level Rise Resilience Plan, drafted agency rules in the evaluation and prioritization of resilience projects for funding, and facilitated the award of over $550 million in state and federal grants.
Diane’s focus with us is to develop a core Resiliency team and expand our experience in conducting vulnerability assessments, adaptation, and resiliency plans. She adds her considerable skills in obtaining federal and state grant funding for mitigation and adaptation projects.
In her free time, Diane enjoys fishing, gardening, hiking, and attending college sporting events with her fiancé and two sons.
