Allan is principal, atmospheric environment specialist, and a professional engineer focusing on the control of airborne contaminants and air emissions. With more than 25 years of experience, he’s led diverse project teams in delivering coordinated results that benefit from specialized computational techniques including dispersion modeling and computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modeling.
In a previous role as manager of technology for a leading air pollution control system manufacturer, Allan gained extensive experience in the application of air pollution abatement equipment (fabric filters and scrubbers). This has translated to success in managing projects with a focus on achieving air emissions compliance—including noise, vibration, acoustics, and light impacts.
A senior practitioner and mentor in our Canadian Atmospheric Environment group of engineers, scientists, and specialists in air, noise, and light, Allan has a passion for passing on knowledge. Outside of work he coaches and mentors youth with minor hockey, skiing, and sailing.
