Mike is an architect and a project manager but most importantly, a team player. For any project, the team could include the owner and stakeholders, approval agencies, contractors, suppliers, and architects and engineers. He believes the best way to plan, balance, adjust, and motivate teams is through constant, honest communication.
Over the course of 30 years, Mike has designed and managed several healthcare, educational, residential, and commercial facilities for both public and private clients. He has managed consultants, building renovations, and new construction and performed facility surveys, feasibility studies, and construction administration. Mike is uniquely qualified to identify building systems conditions, code compliance, and projected life span. One of his more exciting projects is Central Catholic High School’s new STEM building, where he worked with a great team to optimize the design.
Outside of work, Mike is passionate about family—he and his wife have five kids and although the kids are starting to leave the nest, they keep life exciting.
