David has more than 20 years of experience built upon his formal training as a scientist and extensive experience as a consultant in the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) industry. He specializes in investigations and the remediation of sites contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other contaminants.
Drawing on this experience, David is adept at managing due-diligence projects, facility decommissioning projects, building deconstructions, and human-health risk assessments. He has extensive experience collaborating with attorneys and stakeholders on projects under consent decree and administrative orders to State and Federal authorities. Currently, he’s serving as the environmental discipline lead on the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Red and Purple Modernization Program, the largest project in the CTA’s almost 80-year history.
When he’s not managing project teams, David enjoys spending time with his family—fishing, playing blocks and video games with his son, exploring nature and trampolining with his young daughter, and going on date nights with his wife.
