To build any project you need to know the ground it’s built on. But to build better, more sustainably, you need to understand the geology beneath. This is where Olivier applies his passion for geomorphology. His ability to read the earth’s landscapes and interpret landforms, surficial materials and geo-processes makes him an asset to projects requiring a profound understanding of the physical environment.
Olivier is a senior geomorphologist with our Geotechnical group in Eastern Canada. He provides his clients with critical data utilizing a range of assessment methods including mapping, remote sensing, and field-based data collection. He has extensive experience with field logistical planning and coordination and has carried out field studies in a variety of environments around the world. Whether on a single site, or over thousands of kilometers of transmission lines, railroads, highways, and pipelines, he thrives on providing valuable information to communities and other clients in need of geohazard and risk assessment services.
He enjoys opportunities to work on international projects and has acquired fluency in French, English and Spanish to enhance his value to clients.
