Out of Denver, Colorado, George is a senior engineer with nearly two decades of experience and a strong focus on the design and analyses of different infrastructures in the Mining sector. His understanding of mining operations and processes allows him to analyze project tasks in detail, and his background has grown to include the conceptual, feasibility, and final design of tailing storage facilities (TSFs) for various mine sites in North and South America.
George’s ability to design complex structures using 3D software provides his clients with accurate quantity estimates and complete analytical analysis. His previous experience helps him to assess different situations with a perspective that promotes safety and constructability. George served nine years as a mining engineer for Marica-East Mine in South-East Europe, where he was responsible for mine development and planning, equipment optimization, economic analyses, management, and supervision of the production and safety control.
In his spare time, George prefers to be scuba diving, skiing, hiking, or playing soccer. He is also fluent in Russian and Bulgarian.
