Cécile Pérès

Team Lead, Inventory & Permitting

Photo of Cécile

An aquatic wildlife biologist with 20 years of experience, Cécile coordinates a team of professionals in the development of ecological inventory mandates and regulatory support for various infrastructure projects. She has honed her skills in ichthyology (the study of fish) and the identification of aquatic plants and invertebrates. This enables her to work on a wide range of environmental projects, wildlife developments, biological inventories, and impact studies.

Cécile was project manager for a 23-hectare (57-acre) forest restoration project to compensate for Hydro-Québec's Chamouchouane power line for the Port-Cartier harbor dredging project. Having lived in Qatar for five years, she has also carried out environmental impact studies for dredging and port construction projects as well as seismic studies in the oil and gas sector, an environment with very high occupational health and safety standards.

Fascinated by aquatic habitats, Cécile enjoys freediving and scuba diving, which allows her to practice underwater photography in her spare time.
