With over 30 years of mechanical and electrical engineering experience in healthcare, higher education, mass transportation, and high-tech projects, Mark brings excellent design, project management, and leadership skills to his work. His goal? To improve neighborhoods in the greater Portland area through the implementation of cutting-edge tools ranging from zero-emissions transportation technologies to the latest in medical facilities.
Mark combines his building functions expertise and diverse project experience with his knack for effectively communicating complex engineering concepts and ideas to non-technical stakeholders. Mark leveraged this skillset on a logistically complex project for King County Metro, a progressive design build that will provide interim electrification infrastructure for 120 zero-emission busses in the greater Seattle area. On every project, Mark puts heavy emphasis on building strong relationships with his clients, whom he holds in high regard as some of the brightest in the industry.
When Mark isn’t designing the next hospital addition or university research facility, he can be found competing in triathlons and spending time with his grandchildren.
