Catherine supports development cooperation organizations and developing country governments in integrating environment and climate change in their policies, plans, and projects. She is also experienced in sharing knowledge and building related capacities.
Catherine has worked for EuropeAid’s Environment Helpdesk, for the Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA) Support Facility, for EuropeAid’s Environment and Climate Change Mainstreaming Facility, and other international climate change projects. Now, with our International Development Unit (Belgium), she’s providing technical inputs and quality management services to the business development and project management teams on climate change and related topics—as part of international cooperation and development projects. She’s also supporting the setup of a center of expertise on climate change and sustainable energy. She’s also helping establish of a center of excellence on climate change.
Goals-oriented, Catherine undertakes professional and personal projects with a mix of rigor and pragmatism. She has a masters of science in applied environmental economics and a post-graduate diploma in environmental management.
