François is a chemical engineer specializing in environmental sciences. With more than 20 years of experience, he has directed over 250 environmental site assessments and managed numerous air quality studies and pollutant release inventories, including preparation of regulatory reports for the provincial and federal governments.
He has also conducted audits of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting and validated GHG reduction projects in accordance with the ISO 14064 standard for the paper industry and energy sector. He has assisted the commercial and industrial sectors in preparing applications for certificates of authorization and air emissions permits, in addition to proving support on environment-related regulatory matters.
François is well-versed in the CSA Z768-01 standard for environmental assessment and the regulatory requirements of Quebec’s Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MELCC) with respect to contaminated soil remediation and management.
