Based in Barbados, Enrique is a registered civil and structural engineer. His civil and structural engineering experience includes steel and reinforced concrete design projects as well as technical oversight for numerous large-scale initiatives, across both the private and public sectors. Enrique has also led teams of engineers and marine scientists in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and water quality monitoring, for onshore and offshore marine, surface, and groundwater projects.
Enrique is also the Developing Professionals Group (DPG) lead for Barbados and has collaborated with global leaders and senior staff to engage in and promote the professional development of colleagues within the Barbados office. In addition to this role, he’s also the office safety and environment coordinator (OSEC).
Outside of work, Enrique is also a passionate athlete. He represented Barbados as captain of the national swimming team at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India (2008) and represented Barbados as Vice-Captain of the Barbados National Sevens Rugby Team at the 2022 Rugby Americas North (RAN) 7s Tournament in Mexico City.
