Overseeing complex and integrated projects for metropolitan communities, Alan takes a hands-on approach to his role as project manager, lead designer, and civil engineer. Since joining the Company in 2013, Alan has focused on construction management and design for multidisciplinary projects involving municipal utilities, storm water management, and street reconstruction. Bottom line—he likes building things! Especially when those efforts make a difference in communities where he spends time with his family.
Alan’s deep understanding and empathy with community often leads to creative solutions to project requirements and challenges. Preservation of resources and thoughtful planning for the future are central to his approach. Alan taps his strong construction background and knowledge of municipal engineering to protect existing and aging infrastructure with cost-effective rehabilitation programs and funding plans for future improvements.
Outside of the office (or job site), Alan enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining a small urban funny farm complete with chickens, pigeons, honeybees, and two dogs.
