A project manager with the Buildings Engineering and Architecture group, Kim takes the big-picture approach, working with teams and project leads to make sure their projects stay on track by forecasting, planning, organizing, and managing the overall financials.
Kim thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere. She likes to multitask and work with the project team to find solutions for complex challenges. Her aim is to foster a project management mindset for all members of the project team. A lot of people focus only on their own deliverables, but complex projects are powerfully interconnected. A missed deadline—or even an early completion—can have a major effect on schedule, delivery, and the project team.
Kim didn’t expect to find herself in the architecture and engineering consulting field, but it has since become her passion—she loves the insight it’s given her about the built world. Outside of work, Kim combines her love for organizing with her desire for volunteering. Working together to help make a difference is something that is very near and dear to her heart.
