Diane has worked in the natural resource field for six years. Before joining our team, she worked for the University of Minnesota, where she co-authored an e-book titled Gardening with Native Grasses in Cold Climates and a Guide to the Butterflies They Support.
At Stantec, Diane is an ecologist with the ecosystem restoration team in Minneapolis. There, she creates vegetation management plans for conservation easements, restoration plans for natural areas, and invasive species management plans. Diane also conducts inventories of natural areas, conducts rare plant surveys, and is certified to survey for the federally threatened Dakota skipper butterfly.
Diane enjoys giving back to her community through organizing and participating in volunteering events. In her free time, she enjoys indulging in her creative side through painting and drawing.
