A senior leader in our Water business, Rob has had a storied career including more than 40 years in the federal government and private sector. With six advanced degrees to his name, he has combined interdisciplinary studies and licensure or certification in planning, engineering, project management, business, and law. Rob thrives on helping bring the breadth of Stantec’s services to federal clients, including the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), supporting them through civil works projects such as levees and pump stations as well as military construction and hazardous waste disposal.
Rob believes in providing a full spectrum of services that help meet current federal client project requirements, as well as their future needs.
A leader in coastal resiliency and storm risk management, Rob previously served as the senior design director of the post-hurricane Katrina Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps Project in New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as the deputy director for geotechnical services for the Greater New Orleans Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System. He is currently the program manager for the $2 billion Orange County portion of the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management and Ecosystem Restoration Program in Texas.
Rob recently completed his newest advanced degree, a master’s in creative writing. When not on the job or writing scholarly articles, you may find him working on his latest novel.
