With decades of experience in traffic engineering analysis, design, and operations, Robert has worked on a wide range of projects. These include traffic signal design, traffic impact studies, safety investigations, capacity evaluations, and vehicular speed studies. No matter the type of infrastructure project, his goal is always to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users, helping to build smart and livable communities.
Robert has conducted several national workshops and presentations on advisory speed postings on behalf of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). He uses his extensive knowledge of the policies and design criteria of the ITE, American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to help his projects meet requirements.
When he isn’t improving road safety, Robert enjoys going on mission trips, running half marathons, hunting, camping, and spending time with family.
