Chris has more than 20 years of experience in watershed planning, water quantity and quality modeling, environmental review, stream restoration design, and construction management. Over that time, he has served more than 12 watershed management organizations—three of them as district engineer.
Through his career, Chris has looked for and implemented water resources in innovative ways that enhance user experience while lifting the function of the associated ecosystem. This approach has resulted in several community-changing projects including Cottageville Park in Hopkins and Plymouth Creek Improvements in Plymouth. Chris’ experience has also included developing and implementing lake-wide improvement programs to enrich user experiences on water bodies while improving the natural ecosystem. These impacts on natural landscapes, enriching the community and ecosystem, are a driver for why Chris finds his profession so rewarding.
Chris enjoys spending time with his family outdoors doing many different activities including hiking, biking, camping, and fishing.
