Sarah’s passion and love for built and natural environments began when she was a child. Having grown up in Milwaukee, she spent lots of time at her family’s cabin near the Horicon Marsh and exploring national parks around the United States—a tradition she continues as an adult.
As our Milwaukee-Chicago urban planning, urban design, and landscape architecture studio leader, Sarah draws on a diverse set of professional experiences. These span urban planning and design, landscape architecture, and green infrastructure for a wide range markets and project types.
Active as a member of the American Society of Landscape Architecture, Sarah’s held several positions of responsibility. This includes her work as chapter president’s council chair, as well as other national leadership positions for the group’s conference planning, public relations, and communications committees. She’s currently on the education committee, serving as co-chair of the advocacy committee.
