Sarah’s passion and love for the built and natural environments started when she was a child. Having grown up in Milwaukee, she spent lots of time at her family’s cabin near the Horicon Marsh and exploring national parks around the United States (a tradition she continues as an adult).
With professional experience spanning the realm of urban design, landscape design, and green infrastructure for a wide range of project markets, Sarah loves all aspects of project work. She’s currently serving as president-elect (and then president) for the Wisconsin chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Sarah is also the PR and communications chair, and directs the development of content for the organization’s website, social media platforms, newsletters and printed materials for their spring conference and professional advocacy efforts. To top it off, she also serves on the National PR and Communications Committee.
