Experienced in land surveying, Josh works in all the field, office, and management facets of land surveying for both private and public sectors. His current role and responsibilities? Testing survey software and hardware, adopting and implementing survey technology, and collecting and preparing complex data. He performs both laser scanning and drone flight services.
Recent project highlights include establishing a multi-level cereal plant environment survey control network and using time-lapse scans for a newly designed plant processing equipment layout. He’s worked on FEMA shoreline and quadrant-based terrestrial laser scans of 10 railroad bridges that span the Missouri River. He also helped establish an interior and exterior survey control network for a comprehensive pet food plant—encompassing multi-level delivery, warehouse, processing, and packaging spaces.
Josh not only enjoys fieldwork, but you’ll find that he loves spending time with family and friends—and being outdoors in all seasons. In winter, you may run into him at a hockey game, on the ski hill, or the ski trail. Come summer, you’ll find him at a campground or cruising a bike trail.
