Passionate about his work in the water reuse sector, Rob has an eye for both technical details and the big picture as it relates to drinking water, wastewater, and water reuse treatment process design. Spending most of his career in project management and process design of treatment projects, he has over 35 years of experience in the water market as a project manager, process engineer, and civil and mechanical design engineer. He has particular expertise in membrane technologies including membrane bioreactors (MBR), membrane filtration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis.
Currently, Rob provides leadership and direction for advanced water purification process design including San Diego Pure Water and the Pure Water Antelope Valley project. Previously, he served as the lead process engineer for the Hyperion Advanced Water Purification Facility for the Los Angeles International Airport, which produces 1.5 million gallons per day of recycled water. He also advises states in their development of potable reuse regulations, especially in his home state of Arizona.
An avid mountain biker, Rob spends his free time shredding trails. His other hobbies include playing with his Labrador Retriever and practicing yoga.
