Russ has always had a passion for bridges—beginning his career building them as a carpenter, he knew engineering was his calling, and after his first design of river caissons for a major bridge he was hooked. With more than two decades of experience, Russ is a senior bridge engineer focusing on project management, bridge inspection, assessment, rehabilitation, and construction.
Russ enjoys connecting with colleagues and clients, working collaboratively with the project team allowing each member to contribute to project success. His project management approach involves focusing on the success factors for each project through careful planning and the prioritization of project elements.
Outside of work, Russ plays the guitar and mandolin. He is a dedicated father, good cook, and loves spending time outdoors backpack camping high in the alpine or out exploring on his Italian motorcycles.
