As a certified engineering technologist and master electrician, Michael has 12 years of field experience and 8 years of consulting experience in the infrastructure and commercial sectors. He has worked as a tradesman or consultant throughout Alberta and the Territories, and now leads our Red Deer electrical, instrumentation, and controls team.
Mike has contributed to projects such as the Red Deer wastewater treatment plant upgrades and the Stettler water treatment plant filtration upgrader. He has held leadership, supervisory, and project management positions and brings application and installation knowledge to the design of electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems. He is adept in multidisciplinary projects, working closely with other technical disciplines to provide complete design packages. Also proficient in a construction support role, Mike is skilled with submittal reviews, cost breakdown analysis, and design support.
Enjoying quality time with his two kids and wife, Mike rides a motorcycle and enjoys ATV outings and skiing. He enjoys technology of any kind and always needs something to fix or tinker with as a hobby.
