Paul has over 30 years of experience in roadway engineering and construction, with ample experience working on projects of all types and values from conception through to completion. He understands and has completed grant applications, project design, project supervision, contract preparation and administration, and supervision of senior technical staff.
Recently, Paul and his team worked on the Fort MacKay bridge replacement project. The new bridge alignment was chosen with community needs in mind, and the design accommodates pedestrians and traffic alike. It also incorporates decorative features to represent the Fort McKay community.
A well-respected leader who encourages team work and collaboration, Paul understands and values positive communication. He believes that we gain knowledge and background from everyone we speak with, and that by listening we can be sure that we’re truly building with community in mind.
When he’s not at work, Paul might be building log and timber furniture, giving back to the community through Rotary and other causes, or cruising around with his wife in their convertible (season allowing).
